Our why…

Juniper “Junie” Dillon was a beacon of light, a dear friend, our sour patch kid, and truly sweet and silly child. Tragically, Junie died unexpectedly at the age of 2.5 due to unexplained causes (SUDC).

Following the loss of Junie, her mom, Dr. Kristen Dillon, a clinical psychologist specializing in end of life and bereavement, founded Junie’s Place. Her hope is to create an everlasting legacy in Junie’s honor to support other families like hers as they navigate the profound and tragic experience of child loss.

An ocean of grief…

The loss of a child, infant, pregnancy or stillbirth can be a tragic and, at times, traumatic experience. We’ve been there and know the unbearable pain that accompanies this loss and the impact it can have on individuals, families and communities. Though we cannot tell you how to grieve, we can help guide you through and help you turn towards the love you will always have for your child.
